Primitive Fire Starter Class





​​​​​​The Primitive Fire Starter class is part of an ongoing series, Calm Awareness Training©.

Each of the ongoing series of workshops is designed to suit individual or group needs. 

This workshop will provide opportunities to experience:

  • Making practical functional survival tools
  • Learning how to use each item created
  • Group bonding challenges

The Primitive Fire Starter WorkshopIn this weekend workshop participants will learn:  

1)  How to make a utility steel striker (A steel striker is used to make fires with a flint rock) 

2) How to make a fire using tinder, flint, steel and other fire making skills  

3) How to work in a mindful way

4)  Primitive Group Challenge

The Calm Awareness Training (CAT) Series © is designed and taught by Chet Alexander. Chet has trained with indigenous shamans and elders. He has taught groups and individuals privately and as a Specialist Instructor for Social Services and Community Education Departments.  His specialization is Calm Awareness Training©  To develop a group or private workshop please call Chet Alexander. Each class can be designed to suit each individual or group.
