Our aboriginal elders saw “the hunt” as a spiritual transmission, a great and ancient teaching, the “give away.” The “give away” is a living contract, a living process of connecting beyond our species, beyond our physical senses, beyond death. Our “elder brother,” the animal kingdom, gives the worthy, naked and lost human being, powerful medicine, new life and direction. To truly receive this great gift of power, the worthy hunter becomes an empty vulnerable vessel. Each time the human hunter receives this powerful gift of medicine, in profound awe and reverence, the human ego dies. The hunter becomes the hunted! This class is a symbolic journey through our ancient mind to free the limiting patterns in identifying as passive numb consumers.
