The Happy Hearts Community Garden is an hands on learning environmental experience. Children and adults can visit and learn first-hand about volunteering, growing and using herbs and plants at home for all sorts of natural healthy applications. The Happy Hearts Community Garden is located in Coconut Grove and is open for visits and inquiries.


The Happy Hearts Community Garden offers half day field trip and workshops on how Herbal Remedies work. Children and adults will be entertained, Visitors will learn some basic gardening, uses of safe and easy to use herbal remedies their applications and history. The visitors will be able to experience and learn ways our ancestors planted and grew herbs to build community and develop the hidden potential in each individual. 

Medicinal herbs and plants have been used for centuries by every culture around the globe. 
The Happy Hearts Community Garden has over 30 species of medicinal herbs growing on site that are tended and cared for by volunteers of the Nityananda Center.

The Happy Hearts Community Garden is one way that the Nityananda Center is helping to build awareness and educate the community.  Natural forms of healthcare benefit the community and help rebuild a healthy relationship to the natural world.
