The Alexander Foundation Formless Heart Fellowship is a not for profit charitable corporation registered in the state of Florida and with the Federal Government.
The focus of the Alexander Foundation is Fellowship in caring and responsibility. Social Responsibility is expected of everyone and this idea is growing in our culture as more and more people learn how we are all connected. The clothes we wear, the food we eat, even the homes we live in, are all part of a this concept. The Alexander Foundation established the Nityananda Center as its first Not for Profit Community Center. The Nityananda Center offers Fellowship through Social Events, Teachings, Classes and Services which promote this idea of Responsibility and Caring, starting with our environment and our well being.
Each Center opened and maintained by the Alexander Foundation will focus on an individual whose life exemplifies service to humanity. The individuals chosen as the focus for each center was not affiliated to any institution or religious tradition and yet managed to inspire great acts of generosity and nobility in their communities.
The Nityananda Center is the first center opened by the Alexander Foundation and focuses on the life and service of Bhagavan Nityananda, a Hindu saint who spent his adult life wandering India, penniless, wearing a simple loincloth and blanket. Despite his meager possessions he inspired some of t.he world's greatest spiritual movements and set up schools and charities to educate and feed thousands of needy children.
In celebration of Bhagavan Nityananda's lifelong service to humanity, the Nityananda Center will focus on charitable programs to organize healthy food for children here in the USA.
The Center offers Classes and Services to the community to raise awareness and funds for these programs.
